They are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Senior Contract Administrator to join their growing business.With a project portfolio that includes both small and large scale fit-outs for corporate, heritage, educational, hospitality and special use, you will be responsible for supporting the project teams in the management and administration of contracts throughout the project life cycle.
In addition, you will ensure that the high quality and profitability of the projects are maintained while financial and contractual risks are minimised.Initial work will be on procurement, scoping up packages and tendering etc. working with a first class team on a landmark project!




ASAP start for the right person for a 3 month + contract.Responsibilities include but not limited to:Prepare and check subcontract packagesNegotiate and review subcontract tendersProduce and maintain a procurement schedule that matches the programPreparation of accurate payment schedulesProcess progress / delay claims and external variations according to contractual obligations and timelinesPrepare and issue draft progress reports for clients on a monthly basisSet up and maintain job files, drawing and contract registers, sample boards and shop drawing registersAssist in management and tracking of project expenditure against budgetQualifications and Requirements:Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or similarMinimum 4+ years' experience within the construction industry – a tier 1, 2 or 3 background would be idealConstruction Safety Induction (White) cardStrong financial analysis and administrative focusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThis is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
