We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified and motivated Welding Inspectors for upcoming shutdown, turnaround, and maintenance projects across major mining, mineral processing, port, and industrial operations in the Gladstone region.As project activity continues to expand, we are seeking experienced professionals who can support high‐quality project delivery and ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.About the RoleAs a Welding Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring weld quality, fabrication compliance,



and maintenance standards are achieved throughout shutdown and maintenance campaigns.Responsibilities may include:Conducting welding inspections on fixed plant, piping, pressure equipment, and structural steelVerifying compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and relevant standardsReviewing weld maps, inspection reports, material traceability records, and quality documentationMonitoring fabrication, repair, and maintenance activities throughout project executionCoordinating and witnessing non‐destructive testing (NDT) activitiesIdentifying defects, non‐conformances, and corrective actionsLiaising with QA/QC personnel, supervisors, contractors, and client representativesMaintaining accurate inspection records and project documentationSupporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives on siteWhat We're Looking ForTo be successful, you will ideally possess:Previous experience as a Welding Inspector within mining, shutdowns, maintenance, construction, fabrication, or heavy industrial environmentsStrong knowledge of welding inspection techniques and industry standardsExperience inspecting structural, piping, and mechanical maintenance worksAbility to interpret engineering drawings, welding procedures,
