Initial 6 month assignment (possibility of extension)Sydney CBD offices - onsite roleImmediate StartGreen Light are looking for Systems Administrators to join our Sydney delivery team assoiated to a large project currently being undertaken.
This is a great opportunity for Systems Administrators with some or limited experience in a large enterprise setting to be associated to a large program of work.The role is focused on core infrastructure build and configuration activities, specifically validating server builds and supporting storage-related tasks including disk allocation and partitioning.Playing a key part in this cross‐skilled environment, you will support the team in ensuring systems are built correctly, configured to standard and ready for deployment, while developing practical experience in enterprise infrastructure operations.This role is ideal for someone looking to build foundational experience in systems engineering and infrastructure delivery.ResponsibilitiesChecking and validating server builds to ensure configurations meet required standardsAdding and configuring storage to servers, including disk allocation and setupCreating and managing disk partitions in line with build requirementsSupporting basic system configuration activities across server environmentsAssisting with system checks and ensuring builds are ready for deployment and handoverFollowing established processes for build,



configuration and change activitiesEscalating issues or inconsistencies identified during build and configuration tasksSupporting documentation of build processes and configurationsRequirements3-5 years' experience in a systems admin and/or engineer or infrastructure-related roleGood understanding of Windows Server environmentsFamiliarity with server builds, storage concepts and disk partitioningUnderstanding of general IT infrastructure conceptsStrong attention to detail, particularly when working through build and configuration tasksWillingness to learn and develop within a structured technical environmentGood communication skills and ability to work within a team‐based delivery modelRelevant IT studies or certifications (Microsoft or similar)Exposure to enterprise environments or build/deployment activitiesExperience working with build documentation or configuration checklistsFor more information, contact John on or email .
