A&R; Earthmoving and Haulage Pty Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Tipper Truck Driver who has experience in asphalt and profiling roadworks to join our haulage team. This is a permanent casual position based in Thornlands, Queensland .

Key responsibilities
Operate tipper trucks safely and professionally to transport road profilings or asphalt to designated sites
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols at all times
Load and unload materials efficiently, or supervise loading procedures as required
Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation of all deliveries and hours worked
Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations
Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues immediately




Work flexibly during night shift hours to meet project deadlines and delivery schedules
Maintain a clean and well‑organised vehicle and workspace

What we’re looking for
Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a clean driving record
Experience operating tipper trucks at night road works transporting asphalt or profilings.
Proven ability to work safely and responsibly during night shift hours
Robust knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
Excellent vehicle maintenance understanding and basic troubleshooting capabilities
Ability to accurately complete logbooks and delivery documentation
Solid communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction from supervisors
Physical fitness and capability to perform manual truck checks as required
Current Australian heavy vehicle driving licence
