Job DescriptionMaintenance Fitter - Long term Casual Role - ($*****/hr) - Immediate StartLocation: Campbellfield, VICEmployment Type: Full-Time | Long Term Casual PositionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join the operations team.
Reporting to the Plant and Maintenance Superintendent, you will play a critical role in ensuring our plant, equipment, and facilities operate safely, reliably, and at optimum performance.As part of the Maintenance team, you will be responsible for preventative and breakdown maintenance activities, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and being part of a small maintenance team to deliver outstanding operational outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute preventative and breakdown maintenance activitiesSupport maintenance shutdowns and equipment overhaulsContinuously improve the preventative maintenance programMonitor critical spare parts inventory and oversee engineering storesAssist with maintenance budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlWork closely with production teams to maximise plant uptime and reliabilityDrive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance systems and processesLead, mentor,



and develop maintenance personnel to achieve business objectivesEnsure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and statutory requirementsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will possess:Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical disciplineMinimum 5 years' experience in a maintenance role within manufacturingStrong knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and plant reliability practicesExperience working with industrial plant equipment including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, motors, and heat exchangersStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience managing contractors and external service providersExcellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS/MEX preferred)What's on Offer?
