You will deliver intake support via phone, within the Orange Door site and through outreach visits.In addition, you will:Actively manage a caseloadDelivery screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation and coordinated referralsWork collaboratively to support integrated risk assessment and planningApply for brokerage on behalf of clients when requiredRefer clients to services within the broader service system and provide them information and supportAbout the programThe Orange Door Program brings together workforces from Community Service organisations, Aboriginal Services, Family Safety Victoria and DFFH, to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:Women, children, young people, and families who are experiencing or have experienced family violencePeople who use violenceFamilies requiring support with the care, development and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young peopleUniting focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children and young people.Benefits of working at UnitingAt Uniting,

You love that no day is ever the same and feel energized when you find referral pathways and empower individuals to be involved in developing their own support arrangement.You will bring:The minimum qualification for this role is a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualificationOR have a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience or have a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitionersOR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience or lived experience, and have faced barriers to educational pathways as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitionersCurrent Victorian Driver's LicenceExperience, skills, and capabilities in child, youth,
