Job description: Bricklayer – Full-Time Position Location: Sydney, NSW Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 + superannuation Employment Type: Full-time Start Date: ImmediatePosition SummaryThe Bricklayer is responsible for laying bricks, pre-cut stone, and various types of building blocks in mortar to construct and repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structural features.
The role involves interpreting plans, preparing surfaces, and ensuring precise alignment and workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesStudy plans and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation proceduresErect and dismantle restricted-height scaffolding in accordance with WHS requirementsSeal foundations with damp-resistant materialsSpread mortar layers to serve as the base and binder for blocksLay bricks in rows, patterns, and shapes, applying mortar between jointsEmbed blocks in mortar and remove excess materialCheck vertical and horizontal alignment using appropriate toolsCut, shape,



and polish stones and bricks using machines and hand toolsShape bricks to fit irregular spacesRepair and maintain brickwork, cement blocks, and related structuresDesign and cut monumental masonry and letteringConstruct walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocksRequirementsProven experience as a BricklayerAbility to read and interpret construction plans and specificationsStrong understanding of building codes, WHS standards, and safe work practicesPhysically fit and able to work in outdoor environmentsWhite Card (mandatory)Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailWhat We Offer$80,000 – $90,000 base salary + superannuationStable, ongoing work across varied projectsSupportive and skilled team environmentOpportunities for skill development and career progressionWork Location: In person
