Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Undermanager, your responsibilities will include:
Supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mine.
Monitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe condition.
Operate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce.
Skills and Experience
Essential Criteria
Underground Coal Mining experience – preferably previous Longwall experience.
Appropriate qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation **** as a qualified electrical tradesman.




Professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Experience promoting a positive safety culture within the mine.
Sound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
