JJ Civil is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Project Surveyor to join our team on the Borumba Pumped Hydro Energy Storage System Project.This is a outstanding opportunity to be part of a major infrastructure project while working with a supportive, down-to-earth team.
You'll be joining a crew that values accuracy, reliability, safety and getting the job done properly.If you're looking for consistent project work, a positive team culture and the chance to be involved in a large-scale civil project, we want to hear from you.The RoleWorking within our project delivery team, you will provide accurate and reliable survey support across construction activities onsite.You'll work closely with engineers, supervisors, project managers and site crews to make sure survey works are completed safely, accurately and on time.This role would suit a surveyor who is confident working in a civil construction environment, enjoys being part of a site team and is comfortable managing day-to-day survey requirements on a busy project.Responsibilities IncludeConducting field surveys and construction set-out using modern survey equipmentCollecting, processing and checking survey dataPreparing survey reports,



plans and documentationSupporting engineers and supervisors with accurate survey informationMaintaining site records and ensuring data qualityAssisting with conformance and as-constructed surveysEstablishing, maintaining and checking survey controlWorking with site teams to plan and prioritise survey requirementsAssisting with survey methodologies and project documentationSupporting drone survey and data capture activities where requiredSkills & ExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience in a surveying roleExperience using Total Stations, GPS/GNSS receivers and modern survey equipmentExperience with Trimble, Topcon, DJI drones or similar equipment will be highly regardedProficiency with 12d, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, GIS, 3D Office or similar softwareStrong understanding of construction surveying practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityA practical attitude and willingness to work in a project site environmentAbout JJ CivilJJ Civil is a trusted civil construction contractor delivering high-quality infrastructure and resource sector projects across Australia.Our team is built on safety, teamwork, professionalism and delivering quality results for our clients.
