We'relooking for a Regional Carer Navigator (RCN) to lead local efforts in the Metro Melbourne.Job DescriptionThe opportunityCarers Victoria is looking for an enthusiastic and results-driven person to join our Regional Carer Engagement Team to team as our Metropolitan Regional Carer Navigator.
This part-time role will suit someone who has experience in designing and delivering group programs and building connections and referral pathways between organisations.What you'll be doingPlanning, designing & facilitating inclusive, group-based activities that engage and empower carersStrengthening partnerships and referral pathways to make it easier for carers to get information, advice and assistance when they need it and increasing awareness of Carers VictoriaRegularly reviewing, reporting on, and adapting the program we offer.About youYou will bring the following skills and experience to the role:Experience designing andfacilitatinggroup-based wellbeing and inclusion programsStrong understanding (or ability to quickly develop understanding) of issues affecting unpaid carersProven ability to build trusted relationships across community, health,

and social justiceWhy work with usJoin a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving outcomes for unpaid carersWork in a values-driven, forward-thinking organisation12-month fixed-term, part time position (0.6 FTE, three days per week: Monday to Wednesday), with the opportunity to increase to 0.8 FTE until October to cover staff leave.Salary: $96,893 -gross pro rata + plus superannuation, with some flexibility to negotiate based on experience and qualificationsNot-for-profit salary packaging availableHybrid working arrangement: a mix of working from home, potentially from place-based services in the region, regional travel within the catchment (with reimbursed costs), and travel to the Melbourne CBD office for weekly anchor day and team days.
