Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you'll be based at our Kinglake West site (1 hour out of the northern suburbs of Melbourne), you'll work Monday to Friday in a hands-on role maintaining and repairing plant and equipment across our farming operations.
You'll helpminimise downtime, drive preventative maintenance initiatives and support safe, efficient operations, making a real impact every day while working as part of a collaborative and supportive team.What you'll doPerformingpreventative and reactive maintenanceon plant and equipmentAttending breakdowns, troubleshooting faults, and returning machinery to service quicklyConductingroot cause analysisto prevent recurring equipment issuesMaintaining and repairing conveyors, compressors, pumps, refrigeration and processing equipmentWorking withhydraulics, pneumatics,
and automated systemsMaintaining spare parts inventory and supporting cost controlParticipating in production, safety, and reliability meetingsEnsuring compliance withsafety procedures, HACCP, GMP and quality standardsMaintaining accurate maintenance records, manuals, and documentationBuilding strong working relationships with internal teams, contractors and suppliersSupporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to team developmentAbout YouDo you take pride in fixing problems before they become bigger ones and enjoy being the person others can rely on?
You're a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter who takes ownership, thinks ahead and genuinely cares about doing the job right the first time.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.What We're Looking ForExperience inindustrial, manufacturing or food processing environmentsStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience with plant equipment such as conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearmotors and refrigeration systemsKnowledge ofmaintenance planning and continuous improvement practicesExperience working withHACCP, GMP or quality systems(highly regarded)Welding experience (MIG/TIG/ARC) is advantageousAbility to make sound decisions under pressure and prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyCommitment to workplace health, safety, and complianceWhy Join Pace Farm?
