OUR CLIENTOur client is a well-renowned healthcare organisation located in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
As part of a broader business transformation and operational uplift, they are looking for a Fleet & Logistics Coordinator to take ownership of their fleet administration processes and support improvements across their operations.With a fleet of approximately 350 vehicles operating across 50 locations, this role will play a key part in managing day-to-day fleet issues, resolving outstanding queries and improving processes to create greater visibility and efficiency.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a customer service, logistics, supply chain or administration background who enjoys problem solving, taking ownership and improving the way things are done.THE ROLEReporting to the Head od Supply Chain Logistics, you will take ownership of the Fleet inbox and work through a backlog of outstanding issues, ensuring fleet-related queries are resolved accurately and efficiently.This role will require someone who can work autonomously, investigate issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
While this is not a traditional fleet management role, it will suit someone with robust problem-solving skills who enjoys working through operational challenges and improving processes.Key responsibilities will include:Manage and resolve fleet-related issues including toll invoices, fines, breakdowns and general vehicle queriesTake ownership of the Fleet inbox,
prioritising and clearing backlog itemsInvestigate recurring issues and identify root causes to prevent future problemsReview fleet processes and identify opportunities for improvementInvestigate issues such as incorrect toll processing, missing E-tags and vehicle administration gapsWork with internal stakeholders and external providers to resolve queriesMaintain accurate fleet records and documentationSupport the creation of centralised fleet information and processesAssist with vehicle movements between locations when requiredABOUT YOUWe are looking for someone who is naturally curious, organised and enjoys solving problems.
You do not need to come from a dedicated fleet background, however experience within logistics, supply chain, transport, administration or customer service will be highly regarded.You will bring:Experience working within logistics, supply chain, customer service, fleet administration or operations environmentsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and find practical solutionsAbility to work autonomously and take ownership of tasksStrong attention to detail and administration skillsConfident communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholdersAbility to manage competing priorities and work through a backlog of tasksStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and data managementA current driver's licence (required, as occasional vehicle movements may be required)
