We are seeking qualified Welders to join our dedicated team of professionals.We are looking for hardworking individuals who can meet company challenges and surpass client expectations.
As a Welder, your core responsibilities involve reading blueprints, preparing materials, operating cutting tools, and assembling structural components while adhering to strict safety protocols.
The role includes but is not limited to:Read and interpret project plans, engineering drawings, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at handPerform fabrication and repair works on various metal structures and components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprintsWork with variety of materials, including steel, aluminium, and other alloysWeld small and large components such as copper plumbing, beams,
and pipelinesPerform appropriate type of weld - base on project needs and specificationsWeld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsEnsure fabrication and repairs are carried out using the proper safety guidelines to ensure rework jobs do not occurUse a range of hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and cutting toolsConduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets standard specificationsMonitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperatureFollow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.To be considered for this role, you must have the following:Trade certificate in Engineering Fabrication or EquivalentProficient in performing all welding, gouging, cutting or other dutiesPost trade experience in the same fieldProactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of an outstanding team to deliver excellence for our clientsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and blueprintsExperience working with a variety of materials, including steel, aluminum, and other alloysFamiliarity with a range of hand and power tools, including grinders, drills, and cutting toolsStrong attention to detail and the ability to conduct quality checks on completed workAbility to work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasksKnowledge of safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplaceStrong communication and reporting skillsSelf-motivated, organised, punctual and reliableMust have excellent work ethicsSalary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
