If you're anything like us, you love a challenge and use your skills and creativity to solve any problem that comes your way.Your roleWorking at our head office in Melbourne, you'll support the leadership and great Nomad team, to ensure the smooth day-to-day functionality of the office.You will work with a high level of autonomy and be trusted to make well thought out decisions while operating and a fast-paced dynamic environment.Under the broad direction of the leadership team, you will:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne office,
ensuring efficient administrative and operational support across the businessManage office facilities, equipment, suppliers and service providers to maintain a safe, functional and productive workplaceManage office procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing office supplies, equipment and operational resources, while maintaining supplier relationships and supporting office budgetsCoordinate office maintenance, fit-outs, renovations and facilities projects in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external contractorsManage office records, business systems and operational documentation, ensuring information is accurate, organised and maintained in accordance with company policiesCoordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees, including flights, accommodation, transport and itinerariesAssist with planning and co-ordination of company meetings, events, onboarding activities and other workplace initiatives to support employee engagement and business operationsManage corporate expenses, business transaction reconciliations and other office-related financial administrationLiaise with leadership, employees and external stakeholders to coordinate business operations, resolve operational matters and support cross-functional collaborationProvide executive administrative support to the leadership team, including preparing documentation,
coordinating priorities and assisting with strategic operational initiativesAssist with reviewing and improving office systems, workflows and administrative processes to enhance operational efficiency, support business growth and promote continuous improvementRequirementsYour SkillsRelevant qualification at the level of a diploma or higherPrevious experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative leadership role is desirable but not essentialExcellent organisational and communication skills, with high attention to detailA willingness to step outside your comfort zone to acquire new knowledge and skillsSelf-motivated, well-organized and detail orientedProficiency with MS Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, etcFlexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environmentAbility to embrace ambiguity and demonstrate a willingness to acknowledge and explore unknownsSelf-motivated and works independently while fostering effective collaboration within cross-functional teamsYou take initiative and recognise no task is too smallBenefitsThe nuts and boltsThe role is a permanent, full time position and based in Melbourne, Australia.Annual Salary of AUD $90,000 + SuperannuationWe have the flexibility to work from home from time to time, but in-person interaction with team will be criticalWe offer a competitive salary, employee share option package and opportunities for professional growth and advancementMust have current full working rights in AustraliaIf you think you're right for the role, but don't have some of these skills, reach out - we'd love to talk anyway.
