Our client is a highly regarded Melbourne-based advisory practice operating at the intersection of law, tax and accounting. With a strong reputation in the private client space, the business advises high net worth individuals, family groups and entrepreneurs on complex structuring, wealth and cross-border matters.

The Chance

An chance now exists for a 3–5 PQE tax lawyer to join this high-performing and close-knit team. Working closely with experienced senior practitioners, you will be involved in sophisticated advisory work and play a meaningful role in client outcomes.

This is a role with real variety and direct exposure to clients, where you will move beyond purely technical work and develop as a trusted adviser over time.

The Role





This position will see you working across a broad range of tax and structuring matters, including:
Advising on structures for companies, trusts and private groups
International and cross-border tax issues
Tax residency and regulatory considerations
Succession planning and intergenerational wealth strategies

You will work as part of an integrated team, contributing to complex matters that require both technical excellence and commercial insight.

The Person We Seek

We are interested in hearing from tax lawyers with 3–5 years’ PQE, ideally from a reputable law firm or accounting workplace.

You will:
Have strong technical tax skills and attention to detail
Be commercially minded and solutions-focused
Enjoy working closely with clients and building relationships
Be interested in a more integrated, advisory style of practice
