About The Role

We’re looking for a skilled and safety-focused Pipelayer to join our Canberra team. This is a hands‑on, field-based role where you’ll work on delivering critical underground infrastructure across the ACT and surrounding regions. You’ll be part of a crew building essential utility networks that keep communities running. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a strong team, and seeing the results of your work on the ground—this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities
Construct and install underground pipework and mains
Read and interpret construction plans and drawings
Work alongside surveyors to ensure accurate alignment
Liaise with builders, plumbers, utility providers, and property owners
Collaborate with internal teams including schedulers, field officers, and construction leaders

Roster: Monday to Friday with ad‑hoc weekend work as required.

About You
Experience in pipe laying, trenching, excavation, and backfilling
Hold relevant tickets: White Card, Traffic Management, Asbestos Awareness
Excavator and/or HydroVac experience (desirable)
MR/HR licence (advantageous)
Reliable, safety‑focused, and a solid team player
Comfortable working outdoors and across different sites
