We're partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an experienced PKI Architect to lead the design, governance and evolution of enterprise Public Key Infrastructure within a large-scale, security-first setting.

This is a senior, hands‑on architecture role where you'll define PKI strategy, strengthen cryptographic controls and ensure secure, scalable trust services across the enterprise.

The role:
Design and govern enterprise PKI architecture, CA hierarchies and trust models
Lead certificate lifecycle management, CA/RA operations and cryptographic standards
Secure PKI infrastructure including HSMs, OCSP, CRLs and high availability environments
Integrate PKI across IAM, cloud, TLS/SSL, MDM, IoT and enterprise platforms
Drive compliance with NIST, ISO 27001 and security governance frameworks
Develop PKI policies,



standards and architecture documentation
Provide expert support during cryptographic and certificate-related security incidents

What we're looking for:
Solid knowledge of X.509, PKCS, OCSP, CRLs and key management
Hands‑on experience with enterprise PKI platforms, HSMs and certificate lifecycle management
Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001 and security compliance frameworks
PowerShell, Python or Shell scripting skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Relevant degree with security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CCSP highly regarded
