Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Manager with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition and People Operations to lead recruitment and HR initiatives across our portfolio of software and AI businesses.
While the role primarily supports our Australian operations, it also partners with teams across multiple international markets.
This position is heavily recruitment-focused and requires someone who can attract exceptional talent, manage end-to-end hiring processes, partner closely with business leaders on workforce planning, and ensure HR practices remain compliant with local employment legislation and global best practices.
The successful candidate will play a key role in building high-performing teams and delivering an outstanding employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple portfolio companies and business functions, primarily in Australia with support for global hiring initiatives.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop hiring strategies.
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-calibre talent in competitive markets.
Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, job boards, referrals, recruitment agencies, networking, and direct outreach.
Screen applications, conduct interviews, coordinate assessments, and manage selection processes.
Prepare employment offers, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Drive employer branding and candidate engagement initiatives.
Monitor and report on recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost-per-hire, and pipeline health.
Deliver a seamless onboarding experience for recent employees.
Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organisational growth initiatives.
People Operations
Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers and employees across the portfolio.
Ensure compliance with Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, National Employment Standards (NES), and relevant employment laws in other operating jurisdictions.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with privacy and compliance requirements.
Support performance management, employee engagement, retention, and career development initiatives.
Assist with policy development, employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations where required.
Coordinate learning and development initiatives.
Contribute to employee wellbeing, culture, and engagement programs.
Assist in developing scalable HR processes that support a growing international organisation.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resources, with significant experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Strong knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work legislation, and HR compliance.
Experience supporting HR activities across multiple countries or regions is highly desirable.
Proven success managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of business functions.
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
AHRI certification or equivalent HR qualification.
Experience recruiting across Australia and international markets
Experience in high-growth technology, software, SaaS, or AI organisations.
Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing.
Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK, and other global recruitment platforms.
Exposure to supporting remote and distributed international teams.
