We're looking for compassionate, resilient and values‐driven Youth Workers to join our dedicated team supporting young people aged ***** who are unable to live with their families through no fault of their own.
This is meaningful work where your presence, patience and consistency can help change the direction of a young person's life.
About The Home
Our residential care homes provide 24/7 therapeutic care in a safe, stable and family‐like environment for young people with complex needs resulting from trauma, neglect, abuse and difficult life circumstances.
This is a hands‐on role — not a desk job.
From cooking meals together and supporting daily routines, to helping young people regulate emotions, attend appointments and navigate life's challenges, you'll be there for the moments that matter most.

About The Role
No two days (or nights) are ever the same.
As a Youth Worker, you will provide practical support, emotional care and positive role modelling in a home environment where young people can feel secure and supported.
You Will
Support daily routines including meals, hygiene, homework and appointments
Build trusted relationships and provide consistent emotional support
Respond to challenging behaviours using trauma‐informed care and empathy
Encourage participation in education, recreation and life skills development
Follow care plans and work closely with the wider therapeutic support team
Maintain clear reporting and contribute to a strong team culture
This Is a Shift‐based Role Requiring Availability Across
Day shifts
Sleepover and overnight shifts
Weekends
Public holidays
About You
You are calm under pressure, emotionally aware and genuinely committed to helping young people thrive.
You understand that behaviour is communication, and you lead with patience, empathy and consistency.
You Bring
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential Care) or equivalent or willingness to obtain
Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Driver Licence
First Aid and CPR
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional boundaries
Most importantly, you bring heart.
