About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a growing and highly respected insurance business seeking an experienced Claims Consultant to join their Melbourne team on a temporary basis.
You'll join a team-oriented claims team that manages a diverse portfolio of commercial and domestic insurance claims across Australia.

The Role
Working closely with the Claims Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of claims from lodgement through to resolution.
Claims will be allocated based on your experience and technical capability, with exposure across a broad range of products.
Claims may include:
Domestic Property
Commercial Property / ISR
Business Packs
Contractors Plant & Machinery
Motor Vehicle (Fleet, Commercial and Domestic)




Third Party Liability and Injury Claims
Key Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of claims from start to finish
Liaise with insureds, brokers, assessors, repairers and service providers
Investigate claims and determine coverage in line with policy conditions
Coordinate repairs, assessments and settlement activities
Maintain accurate claim records and documentation
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims lifecycle
Contribute to team objectives and support colleagues as required
About You
Minimum 2-3 years' insurance claims experience
Strong experience managing property claims (highly preferred)
Exposure to commercial insurance products and business packs
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy caseload
A proactive, team-focused approach
Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative environment
