Graduate Dentist Year - **** Intake

We're offering 6 exciting 11‐month Graduate Dentist positions, starting end of January ****, based at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM) with an incredible 3‐month rural rotation in Ararat (accommodation fully covered!).
Salary: $86,781 + 12% Super + Salary Packaging
Advantages: CPD allowance, study leave, mentoring, structured support and access to onsite CPD opportunities
Locations: Carlton (Melbourne CBD) & Ararat (regional Victoria)

What You'll Experience
Experience unique rotations in RDHM and East Grampians Health Service:
Oral Surgery (RDHM)
Work closely with residents, registrars, and consultants
Observe and assist in complex surgical cases, including:
Wisdom tooth removal
Sinus perforation repair
Management of patients with complex medical histories
Opportunities for practical experience in both surgical clinics and day surgery units
Primary Care (RDHM)
Manage a variety of cases, including trauma patients
Clinic sessions with paediatric dentists
Observation with paediatric dentists in the day surgery unit




Observation and case involvement with endodontists
Experience in managing complex cases such as crowns and root canal treatment
Rural Rotation: Ararat (East Grampians Health Service)
Work as part of a close‐knit rural dental team, including oral health therapists
Manage diverse and complex cases unique to regional settingsTreat patients in day surgery units with direct support from senior dentists
Get involved with Smile Squad programs and community dental initiatives
Develop resilience and independence while always having support nearby

About You
Recent graduate with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, Bachelor of Dental Science, or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (or equivalent)
Current,



unrestricted AHPRA registration (or by January ****)
Team players with strong communication and people skills
Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to both city and regional communities
