About VantagePoint
VantagePoint is a global finance transformation and technology consultancy helping organisations modernise the finance function through process improvement, data and market-leading technology.
Headquartered in London, we've grown rapidly from a team of five to more than 100 professionals across EMEA, North America and APAC in just seven years.
We work with CFOs and finance leaders to transform reporting, planning, governance and performance, delivering solutions that create lasting value for some of the world's leading organisations.
As our Australian business continues to grow, we're supporting clients across Australia and New Zealand whilst working closely with colleagues across our global business.
We're an ambitious consultancy that believes excellent people thrive when they're trusted early, challenged often and supported to grow.
If you're looking for a place where your contribution matters from day one, you'll feel at home here.
The opportunity
We hire people who take pride in their work and want to be part of something exceptional.
We're looking for a high-potential Associate Consultant to join our growing APAC Workiva practice in Sydney.
This is an entry-level consulting role with real responsibility from day one.
You'll work directly with clients, solve real business problems and help deliver finance transformation projects that create lasting impact, while learning from experienced consultants across our global business.
You won't spend your time sitting on the sidelines or watching others do the interesting work.
You'll be speaking with clients, understanding how their finance functions operate, designing solutions, configuring technology and helping deliver projects that improve the way organisations work.
We want this role to be the start of a long-term consulting career.
As our ANZ practice continues to expand, you'll have the opportunity to grow with the business, helping shape the future of our APAC capability whilst building a long-term consulting career.
What you'll be working on
Support the delivery of Workiva implementations across financial reporting, ESG, controls and finance transformation programmes, working alongside experienced consultants from discovery through to go-live.
Work alongside Consultants and Managers on multiple client engagements.
Participate in client workshops, discovery sessions and design meetings.
Help manage project actions, milestones and deliverables.
Configure Workiva solutions to meet client requirements.
Support testing, documentation and client training.

Build trusted client relationships.
Represent VantagePoint at client, partner and industry events, helping build relationships and strengthen our presence across the APAC market.
Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
We invest heavily in developing our consultants because we know the quality of our people is what sets us apart.
Our goal is simple - to help you become a confident consultant as quickly as possible without compromising the quality of your development.
You'll receive structured training, regular coaching and continuous feedback, giving you the support and confidence to take on increasing responsibility throughout your career.
Consulting methodology and project delivery
Finance transformation and reporting
Client workshops and stakeholder management
Presentation and communication skills
AI and automation
Regular coaching from experienced consultants
A dedicated buddy and line manager
What success looks like
Within your first six months
Build trusted relationships with your team and clients.
Deliver high-quality work with growing confidence and independence.
Develop a strong understanding of our consulting methodology and delivery approach.
Become a valued member of project teams.
Within your first 12 months
Own defined project workstreams with increasing autonomy.
Lead elements of workshops and client meetings.
Build a reputation for quality, curiosity and ownership.
Contribute ideas that improve our delivery and client experience.
Be progressing confidently towards Consultant level.
Who we're looking for
We're looking for people who are curious, motivated and genuinely excited about building a career in consulting.
You don't need to have all the answers on day one, but you do need the curiosity to learn, the confidence to ask questions and the judgement to know when to take ownership.
You'll be a great fit if you:
Are a recent graduate or early-career professional (0-3 years).
Hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
Enjoy solving problems through structured thinking.
Communicate confidently and build relationships with others.
Take pride in producing high-quality work.
Are organised,

proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
Have strong Excel skills and an interest in finance technology.
No previous Workiva experience is required
We'll provide all the training you need.
Why join VantagePoint
We're building something exciting in APAC.
Since launching our Australian practice, we've continued to grow rapidly, welcoming new clients, expanding our capability and establishing ourselves as a trusted Workiva partner across Australia and New Zealand.
Joining now means becoming part of a business that's still shaping its future.
You'll have the opportunity to influence our growth in APAC, work directly with experienced consultants and contribute to projects that have a genuine impact on our clients.
Why you'll love this role
Unlike many graduate consulting roles, you won't spend months observing from the sidelines.
You'll be working directly with clients, solving real business problems, configuring technology, delivering workshops and helping organisations transform the way they operate.
You'll be trusted with responsibility early, supported by experienced consultants and given every opportunity to develop your skills, build confidence and progress your career.
This is the kind of role where your ideas are valued, your development is prioritised and your contribution is recognised.
As you grow, so will your opportunities.
If you're ambitious, curious and motivated by solving complex business problems, this is the kind of environment where you'll thrive.
