Casual Sports Coach
Ivanhoe Grammar School is a values driven, coeducational independent school where we strive to create a culture of belonging and inclusion.
We are looking for Sports Coaches to support our summer program ********* for AGSV teams across all campuses.
The role involves training sessions after school (3:00pm – 5:30pm) and match commitments on Saturdays during the season.
What You Will Do
Provide coaching assistance to teams and squads under the supervision of a teacher, giving direction, instruction and training to students.
Assist with equipment and preparation for training sessions and sporting events.
Help develop sporting skills, tactics and techniques.
Monitor and enhance sporting performance through coaching, encouragement and constructive feedback.
Have an interest in badminton, basketball, cricket, softball, table tennis, tennis, touch football, volleyball or yoga.

You are enthusiastic, reliable and supportive, with a genuine interest in sport and working with young people of character.
You bring professionalism, initiative and a positive attitude.
You Have The Necessary Experience, Knowledge And Skills
An interest or background in sport, coaching or physical activity, ideally with experience in a relevant sport.




Experience assisting with coaching, training sessions or sporting programs (desirable).
Current First Aid and CPR certification (desirable).
The ability to demonstrate appropriate behaviours and professionalism when working with children.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).

Desirable Criteria
