Our strength lies with our people.About The RoleThe Family Services Specialist Disability practitioner roles have been established to build disability and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) expertise across the community-based family services system.
These roles support vulnerable children and parents with disability to access appropriate disability supports and participate effectively in the NDIS.
The roles address the challenges many vulnerable families face when navigating disability support systems, particularly the NDIS.
Practitioners assist families with NDIS access and participation and support them to navigate broader disability systems, including disability advocacy, service providers, and relevant mainstream services.
