About the roleWe're seeking a energetic and collaborative professional to join our national team as a Be You Consultant (Early Childhood)on a 12-month parental leave replacement contract.
As a Consultant, you are the human face of Be You, Australia's national mental health in education initiative.Working primarily online, you'll provide tailored support to early learning services, enable adaptation of the Be You framework to diverse contexts, and help our audience translate knowledge into practice.
In doing so, you'll support early learning services across Australia to make positive, meaningful and sustainable change around mental health and wellbeing.This is a fixed term position through September **** with flexible and hybrid working arrangements available.
Applicants based in Canberra, Sydney, Adelaide or Darwin will also be considered.Key responsibilities:As a Be You Consultant you will:Provide tailored implementation support to learning communitiesPartner for scalabilityAccess the full position description: careers/About youBachelor or postgraduate qualifications in early childhood education and/or mental health (such as psychology,



social work or other related health profession)Knowledge and experience in child development and children' mental health, including understanding of contemporary issues in the early childhood, education and mental health sectors, and knowledge of how early learning and school age care services operateExperience in strengths-based facilitation, coaching, mentoring and/or session delivery to support practice changeConfidence and competence using digital technologies to record and analyse data, manage workflows and stay connected with colleagues and usersCommitment to equity and social justice, including principles of reconciliation, diversity and inclusionManage a dynamic and complex workload, that prioritises daily direct, individualised engagement and supports change.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Closing date: 9:00am EST Monday August 17, ****Applicants must be located in and have a genuine right to work in Australia.Early Childhood Australia is an equal opportunity employer.
