Job TitleBuilding Maintenance TechnicianOverviewJoin Cushman & Wakefield as a Building Maintenance Technician supporting one of Australia's leading private hospital networks.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where your work directly contributes to patient comfort, clinical safety and the smooth operation of a live hospital setting.
If you're a multi-skilled maintenance professional who enjoys variety, problem-solving and meaningful work, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career with a global FM leader.ResponsibilitiesDelivering general building maintenance including carpentry, patching, painting and minor repairsMaintaining doors, hardware, ceilings, partitions and building finishesAssisting with minor trade works within your competencyCoordinating with specialist contractors for complex or licensed worksResponding to urgent maintenance issues impacting hospital operationsCompleting building fabric inspections and asset lifecycle replacement tasksSupporting planned maintenance programs and compliance activitiesLiaising with hospital staff to minimise disruption during worksEnsuring all work complies with infection control and WHS requirementsQualificationsExperience in building maintenance, handyperson or multi‐trade rolesSkills across basic carpentry, plastering, painting, tiling,



minor repairs and general building upkeepExperience in complex facilities — hospital or clinical environments highly regardedStrong problem‐solving skills and the ability to work autonomouslyAbility to work safely in a highly regulated environmentStrong communication and customer service skillsValid driver's licence, White Card and ability to obtain relevant clearancesDesirable skills/licencesEWP / High Risk BoomBasic plumbing or electrical knowledgeExperience with minor fit-outs, de-fits or small worksAbility to work in confined spaces, at heights and in plant roomsWhy Join Cushman & Wakefield?
