We are committed to delivering person-centred, high-quality care and support tailored to each individual's needs, goals and preferences.About the RoleWe are currently seekingexperienced and highly capable Support Workers to join our team supporting a participant with complex and high-intensity support needs.This is an chance to work with a high-care participant requiring specialised support, clinical awareness and strong attention to safety and wellbeing.
We are looking for confident, proactive and reliable support workers who can remain engaged, alert and responsive throughout each shift.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide person-centred support to a participant with complex care needsImplement support strategies in accordance with care plans and risk management plansMonitor participant wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in conditionSupport daily living activities whilst promoting independence and choiceAdminister medications in accordance with organisational policies and proceduresComplete accurate documentation and progress notesMaintain a safe, respectful and supportive environmentWork collaboratively with families,



healthcare professionals and internal stakeholdersCertificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services or equivalentPrevious experience supporting participants with complex or high-intensity needsExperience supporting individuals withsevere dysphagiaCurrentChoking First Aid competencyExperience withsuctioning proceduresExperience administering medications viaNJ Feeding TubeStrong understanding of aspiration risks and preventative strategiesExperience implementing complex care plans and following clinical instructionsConfidence working independently and making sound decisionsAbility to remain alert, engaged and responsive during active shiftsExcellent communication and documentation skillsFlexible to work across weekdays, weekends and active night shiftsAvailable ShiftsActive Night Shifts: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AMMorning Shifts: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PMDay Shifts: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM7-day rotating rosterWhy Join True Ability?
