Service Assistant Orderly

Location: Port Lincoln Hospital, Eyre Peninsula, SA, AU. Work type: Full time, permanent, onsite. Roster: 7‑day cycle. Salary: WHD3 $1,250.29–$1,281.40 per week, plus superannuation, salary sacrifice, and leave loading.

Responsibilities
Transport patients safely and respectfully within the hospital.
Collect, deliver, and return equipment to the correct areas.
Transport pathology and other specimens in line with handling protocols.
Manage the delivery of clean linen and timely removal of soiled linen and waste.

Qualifications & Skills
Reliable, punctual approach and physical capacity to perform manual handling tasks throughout a full shift.
Clear, respectful communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
Understanding of, or willingness to learn, infection control and safe waste‑handling procedures required within SA Health facilities.
Ability to prioritise competing tasks calmly in a busy hospital environment.
