Job Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager you will be responsible for driving opportunities for sales growth within Animal Health product category both on farm and in store throughout the Cloncurry region. This is a customer facing role with a key focus on selling the business's value proposition and product sales strategies as well as managing the relationships, support and direction to our customer base. Keeping up to date with the market, you will be required to identify trends and sales strategies and work collaboratively with retailers to drive business outcomes for the animal health category. You will work collaboratively with the branch staff and effectively communicate relevant supplier updates, commercial offers, profit prospects, rebate and pricing information to your customer base.

About the Candidate

To be successful you must possess strong experience within a customer facing sales role ideally gained within rural supplies and the agricultural industry. Product knowledge within Animal Health, Nutrition and Production will be highly regarded. You will have solid knowledge of sales process and retail best practice methodologies together with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license is essential.
