Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to work full-time across our residential and commercial sites.The ideal candidate will have hands‐on experience in surface preparation and finishing, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a crew.
A current driver's licence and your own reliable vehicle are essential, as this role involves travelling between multiple sites across the south eastern suburbs.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling, patching and sealingApply primers, undercoats, paints, stains and protective coatings by brush, roller and spraySelect, mix and match paints, colours and finishes to specificationRead and interpret job sheets, plans and colour schedulesErect and work safely from ladders, trestles and scaffoldingApply wallpaper and decorative finishes where requiredMask, protect and clean up work areas before, during and after the jobEstimate material quantities and advise on stock orderingMaintain tools and equipment in protected working orderLiaise professionally with clients,
