Join Our TeamWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our Finance team.
This is an excellent prospect for an experienced finance skilled who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to contribute to an organisation that supports people living with disability.Reporting to the NDIS Finance Transformation Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, receipting, reconciliations, and financial administration across our services.
Working closely with operational teams and external stakeholders, you will help maintain strong financial processes and support positive outcomes for participants and the organisation.About the RoleAs our Accounts Officer, you will be responsible for:Daily reconciliation and receipting of bank paymentsProcessing and submitting invoices, including NDIS-related billing and claimsManaging accounts receivable and collection activities for non-NDIS clientsReviewing service delivery data to ensure billing accuracyReconciling NDIS payments and resolving claim discrepancies, rejections, and underpaymentsMaintaining accurate financial records within NetSuiteLiaising with internal teams to investigate and resolve billing queriesMonitoring participant funding balances and advising relevant stakeholders when funding is running lowEnsuring compliance with current NDIS pricing arrangements, service codes,
and funding rulesIdentifying opportunities to improve billing processes and financial systemsAssisting with accounts payable functions as requiredSupporting internal and external audit activitiesAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Previous experience in an Accounts Officer, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable or similar finance roleStrong bank reconciliation and receipting experienceExperience processing invoices and managing accounts receivable functionsKnowledge of NDIS billing and claiming processesExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesExperience using financial systems, ideally NetSuiteIntermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelExperience using NDIS software platformsPrevious experience in the disability, community services, or not-for-profit sectorKnowledge of the SCHADS Award and NDIS Practice StandardsWhy Join Us?
