We are an electrical switchboard manufacturing company in Hallam, Melbourne, looking to increase our workforce with a motivated electrical electrician who has excellent problem-solving abilities.
This will be a rewarding role in our well-established company who have long-term employees.You will be valued as a part of our team and expected to work Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday 8:00am – 2:30pm in our Hallam Factory.About the roleThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in low voltage switchboard manufacturing preferably with knowledge of local service and installation rules.
Electrical control and copper busbar experience will be highly regarded.
This role is offered as a full-time permanent position.

the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills and take on more senior roles and responsibilities within the company.An attractive remuneration package is available to the successful applicant.Skills and experienceElectrical Engineering or Electrical Trade backgroundKnowledge in electrical switchboards, control systems, wiring and bus bar work, power distribution, electrical installations and manufacturing practicesExperience in copper busbar fabrication and control cablingWorking knowledge of Supply Authority regulations and Australian StandardsMust be capable of reading and interpreting electrical drawingsStrong ability to use both hand tools and power tools.Solid work ethic being reliable and able to meet timelinesAbility to work in a team environment or autonomouslyCert.
