Maintenance Electrician – Permanent Night Shift
Are you an A-Grade Licensed Electrician with experience maintaining production machinery within a manufacturing environment?
Our client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their maintenance team on a permanent night shift.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‐established food manufacturing business offering long‐term stability, a supportive team environment and a competitive hourly rate.
Previous food manufacturing experience is not essential.
However, applicants must have experience maintaining machinery within a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
Please note: We're seeking electricians with hands‐on maintenance experience within manufacturing or industrial production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery and equipment
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime
Complete planned maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules
Fault find across electrical control systems and production equipment
Assist with machinery installations, upgrades and commissioning
Maintain accurate maintenance records




Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
Work collaboratively with Production and Maintenance teams to maximise equipment reliability
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
Current A-Grade Electrical Licence (Essential)
Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician within a manufacturing or industrial production environment
Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
PLC fault‐finding experience will be highly regarded
Robust understanding of Workplace Health & Safety
Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
