We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.About the roleICYMHS Community Teams are multi-disciplinary teams providing specialist mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions with young people aged 4 to 25, presenting with a range of mental health concerns, high levels of distress and other psycho-social difficulties.
ICYMHS Community Teams work closely with young people, their families and care systems in order to provide systemic, relational and recovery based mental health care.
The Lilydale Community Team is looking for a qualified mental health clinician to join the team on a temporary full time basis until July ****.
The successful clinician would hold a designated case load,
providing mental health assessment and intervention and would join a team with sound structures to support clinician growth and development such as clinical and peer based supervision and support for professional development and study.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:Allied health with one year of experience.Nursing, OT or Psychology registration with AHPRAQualified social worker with eligibility for membership with AASWPost Graduate qualifications in DPC, Family therapy or child psychotherapy is desirable.A robust commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsHealthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.Those that are offered and/or start between January and April do not require an up to date vaccination for Influenza to progress providing they are aware of its requirement later in the year.
