We have grown significantly in recent years with the acquisition of Tarago Cheese, celebrated for its award-winning blue cheeses, expanding our footprint across the domestic market.About the RoleWe're seeking a Flavoured Cheese Supervisor to lead our AM shift at Dandenong South.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll supervise daily flavoured cheese production, working towards set production targets and supporting planning and scheduling for maximum efficiency.
You'll collaborate closely with QA, Logistics, Maintenance and the Cream Cheese team to maintain high production standards and keep downtime to a minimum.This is an on-site role covering the AM shift,



6:30am-2:30pm.What You'll DoSupervise daily flavoured cheese production activities on shift in line with production plansMonitor output against agreed targets using OFS and escalated issues as requiredCoordinate shift activities to minimise downtime and maximise efficiencyIdentify and resolve routine production issues, escalating complex matters to the Production ManagerMonitor machine performance and report maintenance requirementsEnsure compliance with HACCP, GMP and Quality Policies on shiftSupport the Quality Manager during audits and assist with quality incident investigationsLiaise with Warehouse and Logistics teams to ensure shift materials are availableSupervise, motivate and allocate tasks to production staff to meet shift targetsSupport training, onboarding and competency of staff on shiftMaintain GMP and cleaning standards, and ensure a safe working workplace on shiftWhat We're Looking ForMinimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturingProven team leadership experience/abilityStrong communication skills and English literacyMachinery competencyUnderstanding of Quality Systems (HACCP, GMP)Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety systemsGood computer skills and a continuous improvement mindset
