We're seeking experienced Registered Midwives for agency contracts across Tasmania , with opportunities available from September onwards . About the Role
0.8–1.0 FTE
6–12 week contracts (extensions often available)
Rotating roster including day, afternoon and night shifts
Work across:
Birth Suite
Antenatal Care
Postnatal Care
Pregnancy Assessment Services

Essential Criteria
Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Midwife
Full Australian working rights




Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
FSEP Level 2 (minimum) or equivalent
Current Adult & Paediatric Basic Life Support
Current Neonatal Resuscitation (First Response)
No COVID-19 vaccination requirement
