Rockmount is recruiting on behalf of a well‐established structural steel manufacturing plant based in St Marys.
They need a Boilermaker who can read a drawing without needing three cups of coffee first.
This is a Temp to Perm chance — you'll start on assignment through Rockmount, with a genuine pathway to permanent employment with our client.
What you'll be doing:
Reading and interpreting shop drawings
Tack welding assemblies
Building fixture jigs to hold components in place for welding and assembly
Oxy Cutting structural steel plate and sections to size, including weld bevel prep
What you'll need:
Minimum 4 years' post-trade experience in structural steel
Ability to interpret shop drawings and self-check your own work
Trade Qualification in Fabrication or First Class Welding (or equivalent years of proven experience)
