This Is a Varied And Rewarding Position Where You'll Coordinate and support patient care throughout the VAD process.Provide expert clinical advice to patients, families, carers and healthcare professionalsCollaborate with hospitals, community health services, residential aged care facilities and private providersDeliver education and build capability across the health serviceFoster strong partnerships to ensure seamless, compassionate careBased at Wallsend Campus, this role involves travel across the district, including occasional overnight stays.About YouYou're a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse who combines advanced clinical expertise with empathy, professionalism and sound clinical judgement.
You are committed to providing exceptional end-of-life care while confidently supporting patients and families through complex and sensitive situations.To Thrive In This Role, You Will Bring Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence navigating sensitive conversations.Experience supporting patients, families and carers through complex decision‐making.High levels of emotional intelligence, resilience,



integrity and professionalism.Proven experience developing collaborative relationships across healthcare and community settings.Essential RequirementsCurrent registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.Relevant post‐registration qualifications with a minimum of three years' clinical experience in your postgraduate specialty area (Palliative Care, Acute Medicine or Critical Care Nursing).
