The role involves promoting PIA courses, managing student enquiries, developing education-agent relationships, supporting marketing campaigns and achieving agreed recruitment targets.Working closely with the Marketing Specialist and Administration teams, the Marketing Officer plays an important role in ensuring prospective students receive high-quality information and service, while also helping to raise the profile of PIA through events, marketing collateral, and digital channels.Status: Full-timeReporting to: Deputy COOWhat You'll DoIn this role, responsibilities include the following:1.
Student Recruitment and Admissions SupportRespond to and manage prospective student enquiries, both offshore and onshoreAssist with processing student applications and maintaining accurate recordsProvide basic advice to students on courses,
accommodation, and services2.
Marketing and Promotional ActivitiesAssist in developing and distributing brochures, banners, website updates, and digital contentSupport social media management and other digital marketing activitiesContribute to the implementation of student recruitment campaigns3.
Agent and Partnership SupportMaintain and update the education agent databaseProvide administrative support for agent onboarding and orientationAssist in coordinating partnership activities with agents and education providers4.
Events and EngagementSupport the organisation of student engagement activities, exhibitions, and promotional eventsProvide logistical and promotional support for education fairs and functions (onshore and offshore if required)5.
Research and ReportingContribute to market research to identify trends and student recruitment opportunitiesAssist in preparing reports on marketing and recruitment activityProvide regular recruitment and market-performance reportsAbout YouLanguage proficiency of either of the two required: Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesia) and Swahili/Kiswahili (Kenya)Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or working towards completion)Experience in international education, marketing,
recruitment or salesStrong interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and digital platformsAbility to meet recruitment targets, and travel when requiredKnowledge of the Australian Higher Education sector is preferredKnowledge of Higher Education regulations including ESOS Act and Threshold StandardsExperience working with international students or multicultural communitiesCRM or student management system experienceSkills in Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar design toolsFluency in a second language.PIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
