Field Service Technician- Water IndustrySamplescience Pty Ltd is an independent supplier of water and wastewater sampling and instrumentation calibration services.
We are currently seeking a customer focused technician to join our Victorian based team.
Primarily, this role will be within the Western region of Melbourne but work across metropolitan Melbourne may be required.This hands-on role involves wastewater sampling, plus testing and calibration of water monitoring/control equipment and systems.
Your tasks will primarily be in the recycled water, wastewater and municipal water utility markets.Key responsibilitiesStrong customer service focus and field APP reporting skills.An ability to work in a team environment.An Ability to work with limited supervision.An ability to work within OHS standards and permit systems.Vaccinations are required to be able to work at some customer sites (supplied by Samplescience as required).




Australian work authorisation is required at time of application.A successful Police Check and Working with Children's check may be required at commencement of employment.What we're looking forThe role would suit a science or engineering graduate with a chemical, microbiological or environmental background; or a tradesperson with a wastewater or water industry maintenance background and excellent problem solving skills.
People without qualifications but who have experience in water treatment or management are also encouraged to apply.
A residential address close to the Melbourne metropolitan western region would enable the applicant to be more efficient in the role.What we offerIn house training is provided, you will work with other Samplescience staff until you are confident to go out on your own.
