The ideal candidate will be adaptable with early start times, and willing to undertake weekend overtime when required.Hours of Work:This is a full-time role that will operate over our morning shift 6:00am - 2.30pmDaily Tasks:Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely mannerReduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtimeAssisting in developing and introducing maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholdersEnsure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activitiesIdentifying and escalating Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risksTake personal responsibility to ensure livestock is treated humanely by self and othersYou will bring to this role:Experience in servicing, repair, and maintaining various equipment, including but not limited to automated packing machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and more, in an industrial manufacturing environment,



preferably further processing or food and beverage industryDemonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practicesExperience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systemsEssential tickets - forklift license, scissor lift, EWP (11m), confined spaceExperience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenanceSound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholdersProven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitaskExperience with Maximo as a CMMS would be an advantageAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamWe're looking for people who are curious, caring, courageous, and committed to join us.
