We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer seeking an experienced Production Planner to play a key role in coordinating production schedules, materials and workflow.This is more than just a scheduling position.
You'll work closely with production, purchasing and operations to ensure customer orders are delivered efficiently while supporting continuous improvement across the manufacturing process.About the RoleReporting into the Operations team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating production activities to maximise efficiency, meet customer deadlines and support day-to-day manufacturing operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain production schedulesCoordinate workflow across manufacturing operationsMonitor production capacity and resource availabilityLiaise with purchasing to ensure materials are available when requiredWork closely with production supervisors to achieve on-time deliveryMonitor work orders and adjust schedules as priorities changeIdentify bottlenecks and recommend process improvementsMaintain accurate production planning data and reportingAbout YouYou'll be an organised and forward-thinking planner who thrives in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.You'll ideally bring:Experience in Production Planning, Production Scheduling or Manufacturing CoordinationExperience working within a manufacturing environmentStrong planning, organisational and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience using ERP/MRP systemsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skillsThe ability to manage changing priorities while maintaining attention to detailWhy Join?
