minimise downtime and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance plant performance.This role offers exposure to a diverse range of manufacturing equipment and automated production systems within a fast-paced food and beverage environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to equipment breakdowns and minimise production downtimeComplete preventative, planned and corrective maintenance activitiesDiagnose and rectify faults across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and automation systemsSupport equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action activitiesSupport production line changeovers and equipment start-upsMaintain maintenance records, work orders and spare parts inventory through our maintenance management systemWork closely with Production teams to maximise equipment performance and uptimeCoordinate maintenance contractors when requiredPromote safe work practices and compliance with workplace health and safety requirementsEnsure all maintenance activities comply with GMP, HACCP and food safety standardsContribute to a positive team culture focused on accountability, teamwork and continuous improvementAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will bring:Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Electrician or similar tradeExperience working within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage manufacturing, packaging,
plastics or other automated production environmentsStrong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilitiesExperience maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipmentExposure to PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsExperience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Solid communication and problem-solving skillsA proactive approach to workplace safety and continuous improvementThe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHighly RegardedRestricted Electrical LicenceExperience within beverage, food or packaging manufacturingExperience with bottling, filling, conveying, packaging, palletising or automated production systemsExperience supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement projectsWork PatternThis position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift roster supporting our 24/7 manufacturing operation.Roster Highlights:Work 7 shifts (84 hours) per fortnightFortnightly rotation between day and night shift cyclesDay Shift: 6:00am - 6:00pmNight Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00amPermanent full-time positionRegular extended periods away from workThis roster provides the benefits of full-time employment while offering extended breaks between working blocks.Eligibility RequirementsMust be currently based in AustraliaMust hold full Australian working rightsSponsorship is not available for this positionSuccessful candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screeningNu-Pure Beverages is an Equal Chance Employer.
