Geelong Diesel Services is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in North Geelong, VIC.
As a full-time Diesel Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty diesel engines and equipment, ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly and efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of diesel-powered trucks and machinery
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tune-ups, and safety inspections
Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide accurate estimates
Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used
Ensure a safe and clean working environment
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in Automotive Diesel Mechanics or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Qualified Diesel Mechanic, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills




Familiarity with modern diesel engine technologies and diagnostic toolsEffective communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Must be an Australian permanent resident
