Strong understanding of subdivision works.Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe work practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Current White Card and relevant operator tickets/licenceDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProven experience operating various machines in either a construction or crushing environmentEnsuring plant is treated with respect, kept in a serviceable and clean condition, and operated safely in accordance with procedures and OEM specificationsPerform pre-start checks and routine maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant equipmentWork closely with the onsite foreman to execute daily operations and meet project timelinesFollow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environmentAssist with material handling, loading,



and unloading as neededReviewing allocated tasks and suggesting improvements to carrying out the workExperience working a combination of Days / NightsStrong commitment to safety with proven track record of safe operating practicesPride in your machine and standard of workEnsure plant equipment is properly maintained and report any mechanical issues to the onsite foremanAdhere to all relevant environmental and regulatory guidelines on-siteCollaborate with other team members and stakeholders to support the smooth flow of operationsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEProven experience operating heavy plant machinery in civil construction or similar industriesGPS knowledge or experience preferredRed / White Construction Induction card required (please attach with your CV/Resume)Valid Plant Operator Tickets/Certifications required (please attach with your CV/Resume)Good and pleasant communicatorTeam player who wants to be part of a successful operationGovernment and RTO programs and applicability in industryStrong understanding of construction site safety practices and regulationsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructionsBe able to perform manual labour if need beA positive attitude and a strong work ethicExperience in subdivision works (rock breaking and downsizing) with GPSExperience in digging trenches and working with trench shieldsExperience in boxing roads, bulk earth works, loading trucks/moxys, sorting materialCompliance with all site rules and regulationsComplete pre-starts daily in the books supplied, grease the machinery every second day or as required
