Job DescriptionGreenleaves The Early Childhood Teacher provides leadership in delivering high quality, inclusive programs within the Centre.
You will have expert knowledge of the
Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and relevant state-based curriculums, child development and learning to lead the room's education program and practice, as well as the Centres aim to meet or exceed the National Quality Standard.
Task & Responsibilities: Ensures the development and delivery of a high-quality education and care program Models effective intentional teaching practices in promoting quality learning environments and outcomes for Children Leads by example to support, guide and develop a solid positive culture whilst representing Green Leaves values and reputation in being a service recognised for excellence Is part of the key leadership team that assist the Centre Director in the successful operation of the Centre Assist the Centre Director and 2IC in the Assessment and Rating process and working towards outcomes on the Quality Improvement Plan.

Essential qualifications/experience/skills:
Bachelor qualified inEarly Learning or equivalent qualification
Current SeniorFirst Aid, CPR,
Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates
State relevantWorking with Children Check, Blue Card or Safety Screening
Current Child Protection TrainingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHighly organised with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities, and managing time effectively.
Desirable
Previous experience in a similar roleKnowledge and experience with QikKids and Educa (or similar equivalent platforms)Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Facebook.

Early Learning Highlands offers a fully approved and funded, 3 and 4 year old Kindergarten program, based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Our Kindergarten program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, and is designed to equip our children with the skills required for school and prepare them for this exciting transition.
