Because at the heart of what we do is one belief everyone deserves the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support while respecting participant dignity and preferencesSupport participants with daily living tasks and routines to promote independence and enhance quality of lifeAssist with meal preparation, feeding,
and maintaining appropriate nutritionPerform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environmentFacilitate community participation by accompanying or transporting participants to appointments and social activitiesMonitor participants' health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns or changes to supervisors or healthcare professionalsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of care, progress notes, and incidents in line with organisational and NDIS requirementsFollow individualised care plans and support plans to ensure consistent and person-centred service deliveryProvide emotional support and companionship to reduce social isolation and improve overall wellbeingComply with NDS Practice Standards, workplace health and safety requirements, and duty of care obligationsSkills and Experience RequiredCertificate III or higher in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalentMinimum 12 months' relevant work experience required Australia/OverseasCurrentFirst Aid and CPR certificateNational Police Check andWorking with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a teamEmpathy, patience, and a strong commitment to quality careDesirableExperience working with elderly clients or people with disabilitiesValid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (for community care roles)Multilingual abilities a plusAbility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidaysWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefitsSupportive and inclusive team cultureOngoing professional development and trainingOpportunities for career advancementFlexible working arrangements
