Reporting to the Residence Manager and supported by the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining buildings, grounds, equipment and plant to ensure our homes remain safe, functional and welcoming environments for residents, families and staff.Your role will balance preventative maintenance, compliance activities, auditing, repairs and contractor coordination while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the region.What We OfferGrow Your Own Staff Referral ProgramProfessional development and training opportunitiesEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)

From the tranquil gardens of Bayswater, to the up-to-date light-filled spaces of Northcote, the premium facilities at Northpoint, the vibrant community atmosphere of Watergardens, and the close-knit, parkland setting of Twin Parks, you'll have the opportunity to support a diverse portfolio of welcoming and well-maintained homes.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will:Provide maintenance support and leave coverage across Victorian residencesConduct site audits, risk assessments and quality inspectionsComplete painting, repairs and general maintenance worksMonitor and maintain fire safety systems and compliance requirementsTest and tag electrical equipment in accordance with legislationAssist with resident room set-up and presentationMaintain asset registers,



equipment records and maintenance schedulesSupport contractor inductions and monitor contractor complianceObtain maintenance quotations and coordinate approved worksReview asbestos registers and legislative compliance requirementsPromote safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS legislationIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement across facilities and assetsEnsure tools, equipment and chemicals are safely managed at all timesAbout YouYou are a proactive maintenance professional who enjoys working independently while building strong relationships with operational teams.
