About the role
Gareth Keenan Catering is seeking an experienced Catering Chef Off Site Catering to join our team in Ashmore.
This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis for our off-site catering events.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality, innovative dishes for corporate and private events
Be able to run an event i.e wedding, with help, but you would be in charge of the event, set up, serve, pack down.
Have a valid Australian driver license and be able to drive Ford Transit van
Be able to help loading van for catering jobs.
Working closely with the catering team to ensure seamless event execution
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Adhering to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Contributing ideas and suggestions to enhance our catering offerings
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef, preferably in an off-site catering or event-based role
Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing requirements




Excellent time management and organizational skills
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends as required
