We're looking for an experienced
Group Financial Controller
to lead our global finance function and support the continued growth of our international business.
Reporting to the CFO and working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, this is a business-critical leadership role responsible for financial control, reporting, governance and continuous improvement across our operations in Australia, the USA and the UK.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the CFO, this business-critical role offers the opportunity to lead the global finance function of a growing ASX-listed advanced manufacturing company.
With direct responsibility for finance teams across Australia, the UK and the USA, you will play a key role in shaping financial performance, governance and strategic decision making across the Group.
This is far more than a traditional financial reporting role.
You will gain exposure to Board reporting, investor communications, treasury, tax, risk management and business transformation initiatives, while partnering closely with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller, Head of Finance or ambitious Finance Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
With exposure to Board reporting, investor communications, treasury, tax, governance and strategic business initiatives, the role offers genuine influence,
broad leadership responsibility and significant professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop PWR's global finance team across Australia, the USA and the UK
Coordinate monthly financial and management reporting for the Group
Prepare Board and CFO reporting, including detailed financial analysis and commentary
Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and performance analysis
Lead treasury activities including cash management, banking relationships and foreign exchange hedging strategies
Manage external audits, tax governance and compliance activities across the Group
Partner with business leaders across the Group to manage sustainability reporting initiatives, including data governance, disclosure development and readiness for emerging reporting standards.
Support investor reporting and engagement activities
Drive finance systems improvements, automation and process optimisation initiatives
Support enterprise risk management and working capital performance across the business
About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance expertise with proven leadership capability and commercial acumen.
You'll bring:
CPA or CA qualification
Significant experience leading finance teams within a multi-national organisation
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, audit, treasury and corporate governance requirements
Experience supporting Board, Executive and investor-level reporting
Knowledge of Australian listed company requirements, AASB/IFRS and international financial operations
Experience within manufacturing, operational or project-based environments highly regarded
A hands-on leadership style with the ability to develop high-performing teams
Experience delivering ERP, automation or finance transformation initiatives
Strong commercial judgement, analytical capability and stakeholder management skills
